Nexium 24HR 20 mg enteric coated tablets for the lasting symptomatic relief of frequent heartburn, acid regurgitation and other symptoms associated with gastro-oesophageal reflux.
Always take this medicine exactly as described in the Consumer Medicine Information leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist have told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose is one tablet a day. - Do not take more than this recommended dose of one tablet (20 mg) a day, even if you don't feel an improvement immediately. - You may need to take Nexium 24HR for a few days before experiencing the full effect. - Nexium 24HR should be taken for at least 7 days and up to 14 days. - Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you do not feel better while taking Nexium 24HR. If symptoms persist or recur within 2 weeks of completing the course, consult your doctor. Further examination may be required.
Always read the label, use only as directed. Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you notice any of the following and they worry you: nausea or vomiting, constipation, diarrhoea, headache, wind, stomach pain, skin rash, itchy skin, dizziness or dry mouth. These side effects are usually mild. Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you are taking any other medicines, including any that you buy without a prescription from your pharmacy, supermarket or health food shop. Some medicines may interfere with Nexium 24HR. Do not take Nexium 24HR if you are pregnant unless your doctor says so. Ask your doctor about the risks and benefits involved. It is not known if it is safe for you to take Nexium 24HR while you are pregnant. It may affect your baby. Do not take Nexium 24HR if you are breastfeeding. Ask your doctor for more information. It is not known if Nexium 24HR is excreted in breastmilk if you are breastfeeding.
Gum diseaseThe instructions recommend that you may not have any symptoms, but the symptoms may be related to the disease. If your symptoms are related to a condition (such as gum disease), it is important that you take a proper diagnosis and treatment as instructed. Do not take Nexium 24HR, esomeprazole, for more than 14 days before you are certain you are suffering from the condition. - Do not take Nexium 24HR for more than 14 days. - Nexium 24HR may cause bone pain, especially if you take it for a longer time than 14 days. - If you experience any of the following, you should wait for a full 24 hours after taking Nexium 24HR.
Jaundice or severe liver problems. If these occur, check with your doctor or pharmacist. They may need to change the doses or directions for use. If you are using Nexium 24HR with food, straws, gum or perfume, you may need to take it on an empty stomach. Use a special measuring cup to help you remember. Shake the cup well before each use.
Before using Nexium 24HR, your doctor will ask you some questions about your health (such as if you are taking any other medicine, including any that you take), as well as your medical condition. This is not recommended because there may be a reaction to the medicine, or because you have kidney or liver problems, because these symptoms are usually mild, these symptoms usually do not need to be reported, because they may go away after you are well. You should discuss the risks and benefits of this treatment with your doctor before you take any Nexium 24HR. Do not stop taking the medicine without consulting your doctor.
If you have any concerns about your treatment, or if you get any side effects, please speak to your doctor or pharmacist. Before you take Nexium 24HR, you should discuss with your doctor how you will be expected to take the medicine. You should also use the medicine exactly as directed and consult your doctor if you experience an inability to control and frequency at the same time.

Nexium Control 20mg esomeprazole Magnesium tablets are indicated for the treatment of pro- and digoxin-dependent pro- and/or digoxin-dependent heart failure, heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, cerebrovascular syndrome, nephrotic syndrome, renal failure, nephroticciuria, renal impairment, hepatic failure, renal impairment associated with haemorrhage, renal impairment associated with haemorrhage, hepatic failure associated with haemorrhage, renal impairment associated with haemorrhage, renal insufficiency associated with haemorrhage, renal impairment associated with haemorrhage, nephroticciuria associated with nephrotic syndrome, renal insufficiency associated with renal impairment, renal impairment associated with haemorrhage, hepatic insufficiency associated with hepatic failure, and nephroticciuria associated with hepatic failure. The safety and efficacy of the medicinal product in patients with heart failure has not been established. The safety and efficacy of the medicinal product in patients with acute coronary syndrome has not been established. The safety and efficacy of the medicinal product in patients with nephroticciuria has not been established.
Active ingredient:Esomeprazole Magnesium
Take this medicine by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor, usually once daily. Do not crush or chew Nexium Control 20mg esomeprazole Magnesium tablets. If you miss a dose of Nexium Control 20mg esomeprazole magnesium tablets, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose.
If you are allergic to esomeprazole magnesium or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6), tell your doctor or pharmacist. They will probably need to adjust the dose of Nexium Control 20mg esomeprazole magnesium tablets.

Serious side effects: May include: erythema (redness), swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, nausea or vomiting, fatigue, headache, skin blisters, peeling and/or bruising. Do not break, crush or chew Nexium Control 20mg esomeprazole magnesium tablets. Nexium Control 20mg esomeprazole magnesium tablets can be crushed or broken in half; this can lead to unpredictable side effects and increased risk of side effects. Always store this medicine at room temperature, in the original container. Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
Precautions: Keep this medicine out of the reach of children. This medicine can cause drowsiness. Do not use this medicine in the last three days after you are directed to take it.
Tell your doctor if you have any other medical conditions. This medicine may worsen diabetes, may increase your risk of heart problems or blood clots. Tell your doctor if you have any questions about your diabetes. Your doctor or pharmacist may need to change the doses of your medicine.
